J&K Bank posted its highest-ever annual net profit of Rs 2,082.46 Cr for FY25, up 17.83% from Rs 1,767.27 Cr in FY24, marking a third consecutive year of record profits (a hattrick). Q4FY25 net profit stood at Rs 584.54 Cr, up 10% quarter-on-quarter. Net Interest Income grew 11.34% to Rs 5,793.82 Cr with NIM at 3.92%, while operating profit jumped 28.7% to Rs 2,929.79 Cr. Net advances crossed the Rs 1 Lakh Cr mark for the first time, rising 11.13% to Rs 1,04,198.72 Cr, with deposits up 10.24% at Rs 1,48,569.46 Cr and CASA ratio at 47.01%. Asset quality improved sharply with Gross NPA falling to 3.37% (from 4.08%) and Net NPA at 0.79%, while Capital Adequacy Ratio remained strong at 16.29%. Return on Assets for Q4 reached 1.44%.
Strong results across the board — record profits, healthy loan and deposit growth, and meaningful improvement in asset quality should be positive for shareholder sentiment. The bank is well-capitalized and is signaling continued growth momentum in retail, MSME, and agriculture lending segments.
