Prima Plastics reported Q3 FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹5,310 lakhs, up ~3.6% YoY, with net profit attributable to owners rising ~53.6% YoY to ₹506 lakhs, supported by a strong share of profit from its joint venture (₹199 lakhs). For the nine months ended Dec 2025, consolidated revenue grew ~10% YoY to ₹14,966 lakhs and attributable PAT grew ~15% YoY to ₹1,129 lakhs, with EPS at ₹10.27. Standalone Q3 numbers look weak — revenue fell ~6% YoY to ₹3,441 lakhs and PAT dropped sharply to ₹66 lakhs from ₹309 lakhs YoY, mainly because the prior-year quarter had an unusually high other income of ₹385 lakhs (vs ₹16 lakhs now); ex-other-income, standalone PBT is broadly comparable. The board also approved the demerger of the Rotational Moulding Business into wholly-owned subsidiary Prima Innovation Ltd, with the next NCLT hearing set for Feb 12, 2026, and appointed Ms. Nehal Goyal as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer. Auditor CNK & Associates LLP issued an unmodified review report.
Consolidated earnings momentum is healthy, driven by the joint venture and stable margins, which is the key driver for shareholders; standalone weakness is largely a base-effect distortion rather than an operational concern. The pending NCLT-approved demerger could structurally reshape the company and is a near-term catalyst to watch.
