Prima Plastics has fixed August 12, 2025 as the date of its 31st AGM (via video conferencing), with the register of members and share transfer books closed from August 6 to August 12, 2025. The cut-off date to be eligible for the dividend is August 5, 2025. The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2 per equity share (20% on face value of Rs. 10), same as the previous year, subject to shareholder approval. For FY25, consolidated revenue rose about 5% to Rs. 193.67 crore with net profit (attributable to owners) jumping nearly 27% to Rs. 21.80 crore, while standalone revenue grew about 11% to Rs. 131.98 crore with net profit up around 10% to Rs. 4.19 crore. The Board also approved the re-appointment of Mr. Bhaskar M. Parekh as Executive Chairman and Mr. Dilip M. Parekh as Managing Director for three years each, and noted that the demerger of its Rotational Moulding Business into wholly-owned subsidiary Prima Innovation Limited is now pending with the NCLT.
Shareholders who hold the stock by the August 5, 2025 cut-off date will receive the Rs. 2 dividend once approved at the AGM. Strong consolidated earnings growth, particularly the ~27% jump in net profit, is a positive signal for the stock, though the standalone business showed only modest growth.
