Prime Industries Ltd reported strong consolidated FY2026 results with total revenue of Rs.930.39 million and net profit of Rs.160.07 million, up from Rs.14.73 million in FY2025. This dramatic jump is largely due to the first-time consolidation of subsidiary LINGA AGRITRADING AND MACHINERY PRIVATE LIMITED this year, making prior-year comparisons less meaningful. On a standalone basis, the company earned Rs.12.87 million net profit on revenue of Rs.108.38 million. Cash flow from operations turned sharply negative at Rs.-588.97 million (vs Rs.-188.76 million prior year), reflecting significant working capital pressure. Total borrowings surged from Rs.162.90 million to Rs.730.80 million. The auditor issued an unmodified opinion, and no exceptional items were reported.
The jump in consolidated revenue and profit is primarily structural due to the newly consolidated subsidiary, not organic growth. The sharp rise in debt and strongly negative operating cash flow are concerning and merit close monitoring. Shareholders should note the balance sheet shows total assets nearly tripling to Rs.1,710.64 million.
