On the reaction day the stock moved 0.8 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.2 pts less than its Cement & Cement Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Standalone Q3 net sales rose to Rs 1,718.84 Cr from Rs 1,622.96 Cr YoY. Net profit was Rs 77.25 Cr versus a loss of Rs 33.48 Cr last year, boosted by Rs 151.46 Cr gain on sale of Mumbai office premises. Cement segment recovered with operating margin at 8.48 percent vs 2.31 percent YoY. 9M standalone PAT swung to Rs 103.46 Cr profit from Rs 68.07 Cr loss.
Return to profitability and sharp margin recovery are positive for the stock. Property sale gains lift near-term numbers but are one-off in nature.
