The Board of Pro Fin Capital Services Ltd approved audited financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025. The NBFC returned to profitability, with Net Profit Before Tax of around ₹499 lakhs compared to a loss of about ₹23 lakhs in FY24. Total equity more than doubled to roughly ₹7,046 lakhs from ₹2,886 lakhs, helped by share warrant proceeds of about ₹3,793 lakhs. Borrowings came down modestly to around ₹29,882 lakhs from ₹31,564 lakhs, while the lending book (Loans & Advances) grew to about ₹34,642 lakhs from ₹32,391 lakhs. Other income surged to approximately ₹122 lakhs from ₹39 lakhs. Statutory auditors K S Subrahmanyam & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial statements.
Return to profitability and fresh capital via warrants are positives for shareholders. However, the stock remains highly leveraged (borrowings roughly 4.2x equity, typical for an NBFC) and operating cash flow stayed firmly negative at about ₹(978) lakhs, indicating earnings quality and liquidity will need close monitoring.
