Promact Plastics posted Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs 512.29L versus Rs 16.14L a year ago, a sharp jump. Profit before tax was Rs 1978.74L (versus a loss of Rs 14.53L YoY) and PAT was Rs 1645.04L, giving EPS of Rs 25.26. However, almost the entire profit came from exceptional items (net income of about Rs 1959.52L), while core operations contributed only Rs 19.22L. Reserves remain negative at minus Rs 906.36L. No loan defaults reported.
Headline profit boosted by one-off exceptional income; core operations still weak and reserves negative, so quality of earnings is a concern.
