Pudumjee Paper Products submitted its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited financial results to the exchanges. Total revenue rose roughly 8% year-on-year to about Rs. 215 crore, while revenue from operations was largely flat at around Rs. 196 crore. The standout feature was profitability: basic and diluted EPS jumped from Rs. 1.99 in Q1 FY25 to Rs. 3.82 in Q1 FY26, an increase of about 90%, as total expenses fell meaningfully compared with the year-ago quarter. The Paper segment continued to drive the business (around 93% of segment revenue), while the Hygiene Products segment remained small. Statutory auditors J M Agrawal & Co. issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis-of-matter paragraphs.
The sharp rise in EPS is a positive signal for shareholders and is likely to be viewed favourably by the market, indicating improved operational efficiency or cost rationalisation. However, the muted top-line growth means investors will want to see whether revenue momentum picks up in the coming quarters.
