Puretrop Fruits (formerly Freshtrop Fruits) reported Q1 FY27 revenue of 2,802.5 lakh, almost flat YoY. Profit after tax from continuing operations surged to 456.5 lakh vs 60.8 lakh last year, driven by lower cost of materials and favorable inventory changes. EPS from continuing ops rose to 6.65 vs 0.76. No profit from discontinued operations this quarter vs 231.5 lakh last year. Total PAT stood at 456.5 lakh vs 1,530.2 lakh YoY.
Strong profit growth from continuing operations boosts core earnings, though flat revenue and absence of discontinued ops profit cap overall PAT growth.
