Puretrop Fruits Limited's Board, at its November 11, 2025 meeting, approved the unaudited standalone results for Q2 and H1 FY26 (ended September 30, 2025), which received an unqualified limited review report from statutory auditor F P & Associates. Revenue from operations fell to Rs 2,689.43 lakhs in Q2 FY26 from Rs 3,481.07 lakhs a year earlier (a ~23% decline), and H1 FY26 revenue dropped to Rs 5,483.89 lakhs from Rs 6,466.28 lakhs (~15% lower). Despite the revenue dip, continuing operations swung to a Q2 profit before tax of Rs 373.48 lakhs from a loss of Rs 152.54 lakhs, with H1 PBT rising to Rs 432.12 lakhs from Rs 17.26 lakhs. Total profit (including discontinued operations, linked to the December 2023 sale of the Fresh Fruit Business to Green Agrevolution) stood at Rs 1,886.07 lakhs in H1 FY26 versus Rs 1,503.07 lakhs in H1 FY25, lifting total EPS to Rs 23.66.
Revenue continues to shrink as the company has largely exited its fresh fruit business, but margins from continuing operations have expanded sharply, turning profits around. Earnings remain heavily supported by one-time-style payments tied to the past divestiture, so shareholders should watch both the sustainability of continuing-ops profitability and the eventual wind-down of discontinued-operations income.
