Puretrop Fruits Limited (formerly Freshtrop Fruits Limited) announced its unaudited financial results for Q3 and nine months ended December 31, 2025, alongside a Rs 22 crore share buyback proposal. Q3 FY26 revenue from operations rose 33% year-on-year to Rs 26.37 crore, while the company swung back to a profit of Rs 2.71 crore (total operations) from a loss of Rs 1.69 crore in Q3 FY25. For nine months, total profit stood at Rs 21.55 crore, up about 62% from Rs 13.34 crore a year earlier, driven by income from the discontinued fresh fruit business transferred earlier. The board also approved buying back up to 11 lakh equity shares at Rs 200 each (17.42% of paid-up capital and free reserves), and reshuffled senior management: Ms. Dipti Motiani (daughter of the Managing Director) was named CEO effective March 1, 2026, while a new Company Secretary will join from February 1, 2026.
The strong quarterly turnaround and 62% jump in nine-month profit suggest improving core operations and may support the stock in the short term. The Rs 22 crore buyback at Rs 200 per share signals promoter confidence in valuations, though appointing a promoter's family member as CEO could raise governance questions for some investors.
