PVR INOX reported strong revenue growth in Q1 FY26 with standalone revenue from operations rising to Rs. 13,729 million, up about 21% from Rs. 11,373 million in Q1 FY25. Consolidated revenue grew even faster to Rs. 14,691 million, a jump of roughly 23% year-on-year. The company remains in the red with a standalone net loss of Rs. 512 million and a consolidated net loss of Rs. 540 million, but losses narrowed sharply compared to Rs. 1,762 million and Rs. 1,787 million respectively a year ago. Operating margin expanded meaningfully from about 21% to 27% on a consolidated basis. The statutory auditors S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP issued an unmodified limited review report on both sets of results.
Positive for shareholders — revenue growth above 20% and a significant narrowing of losses suggest the business is recovering and operating leverage is kicking in, though profitability has not yet turned positive.
