PVR Inox reported its best-ever financial performance for FY26 with revenues of INR6,742 crores (up 16%) and EBITDA margins expanding nearly doubled to 14.4% from 8.4% previously. PAT turned positive at INR386 crores versus a loss of INR152 crores in FY25. The company achieved record free cash flow of INR790 crores and reduced net debt by 90% since the merger to just INR161 crores. Management guided for FY27 capex of INR375-400 crores with 120 screens planned (55-60% under capital-light FOCO/asset-light models), targeting net cash position soon. The company also discussed strong content pipeline including Ramayana Part 1, Avengers: Doomsday, and regional films like Peddi and Toxic.
Shareholders can expect improved profitability metrics going forward as the company pivots to capital-light growth while achieving near-zero debt levels, which should support better ROCE and shareholder returns including potential dividends or buyback discussions.
