PVR INOX reported Q2 FY27 income of INR2,133 crore, up 17%, operating profit of INR475 crore, up 44%, and profit after tax of INR273 crore, over double year on year. Margin rose 420 basis points to 22.3%. Net cash reached INR141 crore after INR259 crore debt repayment and a INR300 crore buyback. It targets 90 to 100 FY27 screen additions, 150 to 175 from FY28, and has signed about 100 SMART cinema sites for the next 12 to 18 months.
Earnings, wider margins, net cash and screen growth support sentiment and shareholder returns, though FY28 capital spending may weigh on cash flow.
