Pyxis Finvest Limited, an NBFC based in Mumbai, announced its audited standalone results for the half year and full year ended 31-March-2025, approved by the Board on 30-May-2025. Statutory auditor M/s. Bhatter & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial statements. Total revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs. 147.71 lakhs for FY25, down from Rs. 236.23 lakhs in FY24, a decline of about 37%. Profit after tax dropped even more steeply to Rs. 33.73 lakhs (FY24: Rs. 156.28 lakhs), down nearly 78%, with EPS falling to Rs. 0.29 from Rs. 1.36. The company noted that management and control changed effective 29-Jul-2024, and all legacy non-performing assets (NPAs) were written off during the year. The loan book also shrank from Rs. 1,841.40 lakhs to Rs. 1,331.37 lakhs. The balance sheet remains debt-free with total equity of Rs. 1,988.85 lakhs.
Sharp YoY declines in both revenue and profit signal meaningful business contraction, likely tied to the change in management/control and NPA write-offs. Short-term negative for the stock, though the clean audit opinion and debt-free, well-capitalised balance sheet limit downside risk.
