Pyxis Finvest's board, in its meeting on 30-May-2025, approved the audited standalone financial results for the half year and full year ended 31-Mar-2025. Statutory auditor Bhatter & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with no qualifications. For FY25, total revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs. 147.71 lakhs from Rs. 236.23 lakhs in FY24, a decline of about 37%. Profit after tax dropped to Rs. 33.73 lakhs from Rs. 156.28 lakhs in FY24, with EPS falling to Rs. 0.29 from Rs. 1.36. Total expenses ballooned to Rs. 102.13 lakhs (vs Rs. 23.19 lakhs) largely due to a Rs. 37.60 lakh net loss on fair value changes. The company also disclosed related party transactions including remuneration to the promoter-director (Rs. 18 lakh) and CFO (Rs. 3 lakh), and noted that management and control of the company changed w.e.f. 29-Jul-2024.
Sharp declines in revenue and profit, along with a swing to fair value losses, are negative signals for shareholders. However, the clean audit opinion, zero debt, healthy equity base, and positive operating cash flow suggest the company remains financially stable despite weaker earnings.
