Pyxis Finvest's board approved standalone unaudited results for H1 FY26 (ended 30-Sep-2025). Total revenue from operations fell to Rs. 75.42 lakhs from Rs. 98.30 lakhs in H1 FY25, a decline of about 23%. Total expenses jumped sharply to Rs. 95.15 lakhs from Rs. 27.73 lakhs, driven mainly by bad debts written off of Rs. 62.32 lakhs (vs Rs. 7.69 lakhs), employee cost of Rs. 28.20 lakhs (vs Rs. 7.40 lakhs), and a net loss on fair value changes of Rs. 37.60 lakhs. Profit after tax slumped to Rs. 19.73 lakhs from Rs. 54.57 lakhs in H1 FY25, with EPS at Rs. 0.17 vs Rs. 0.47. Auditor Bharat Gupta & Co. gave an unqualified limited review report. Cash and bank balances fell sharply to Rs. 10.46 lakhs from Rs. 440.42 lakhs as at 31-Mar-2025, while total assets stood at around Rs. 2,003 lakhs. No dividend was recommended.
Sharply higher bad-debt write-offs and employee costs have eaten into earnings despite stable lending income, signalling asset-quality stress. Combined with weak cash balances and contracting revenue, this is a negative read for shareholders in the near term.
