Q1 FY27 Results: Income drops 56 percent, profit plunges year-on-year

NBFC Sunshine Capital posted Q1 FY27 results for quarter ended June 30, 2026. Total income fell to Rs 103.38 lakh from Rs 233.41 lakh in Q1 FY26, a drop of about 56 percent. Profit after tax plunged to Rs 101.54 lakh from Rs 2,945.35 lakh in the year-ago quarter. Interest income declined to Rs 103.38 lakh from Rs 203.67 lakh. Auditor VRSK and Associates issued a limited review that includes an Emphasis of Matter. The auditor also noted that comparable consolidated quarter figures were not subjected to review.
