On the reaction day the stock moved 1.8 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.4 pts less than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

The Income Tax Department has sanctioned prosecution against R.P.P. Infra Projects and two of its directors for delayed deposit of TDS worth about Rs 1.92 crore for FY 2022-23, with delays of 2 to 10 months. The order dated December 8, 2025 was issued under Sections 276B(a) and 278B of the Income Tax Act and names the Company, Managing Director P. Arul Sundaram, and Whole-Time Director and CFO Nithya Arulsundaram. The Company says TDS plus interest has already been remitted, no immediate monetary penalty is imposed, and it has applied for compounding. Disclosure to the stock exchanges was delayed due to an internal coordination gap.
Negative for sentiment as prosecution targets the Company and its MD and CFO. Direct financial impact is limited since TDS and interest have been paid and compounding is sought.
