Raaj Medisafe India reported strong Q1 FY26 results with revenue from operations rising to ₹1,582.70 lakhs, up about 45% from ₹1,090.57 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Net profit jumped to ₹146.06 lakhs versus ₹97.36 lakhs in the year-ago quarter, a growth of roughly 50%, translating to EPS of ₹1.11 (vs ₹0.74 earlier). Growth was driven by both segments — Plastic (₹1,162.56 lakhs) and the newly reported Hygiene segment (₹422.90 lakhs) covering sanitary napkins and diapers. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹1,583.26 lakhs, with cost of materials at ₹1,222.24 lakhs and finance costs almost doubling to ₹68.13 lakhs. The statutory auditors (V.K. Ladha & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Positive for shareholders — strong top-line and bottom-line growth driven by the new Hygiene segment expansion. However, rising finance costs and a sharp increase in employee expenses warrant watching for margin sustainability in upcoming quarters.
