RACL Geartech reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) standalone revenue from operations of about Rs. 101.09 crore, slightly lower than Rs. 105.28 crore in the same quarter last year. Despite the mild revenue dip, standalone profit after tax (PAT) jumped to Rs. 8.29 crore from Rs. 6.26 crore, a rise of roughly 32% year-on-year, lifting EPS to Rs. 7.03 from Rs. 6.19. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations grew around 25% to about Rs. 108.86 crore and consolidated PAT rose nearly 57% to Rs. 6.50 crore. The statutory auditor Gianender & Associates issued an unmodified limited review report. On the same day, the board appointed Mr. Pravir Kumar and Mr. Rakesh Kapoor as additional directors, and named M/s Gupta Nayar & Co. as the new statutory auditor for three years and M/s Rosy Jaiswal & Associates as secretarial auditor for five years, subject to shareholder approval.
Margin expansion drove a healthy earnings beat even with flat-to-lower standalone revenue, which is a positive signal for shareholders. Investors should also note the change in statutory auditor mid-year and the addition of two new directors, pending shareholder approval at the next AGM.
