RailTel's unaudited H1 FY26 operating revenue rose 21.0% to Rs 1,695.17 crore due to project work. Profit after tax rose 17.2% to Rs 142.17 crore, while the operating margin before depreciation and finance narrowed to 17.6% from 19.3%. It had a Rs 215.18 crore operating cash outflow and a Rs 12.71 crore exceptional charge. The board declared a Rs 1 per share interim dividend, payable November 25, 2025, and disclosed related party transactions.
The dividend supports sentiment, but negative cash flow, a narrower margin and slower profit growth may limit stock upside despite higher revenue.
