Rajesh Exports, a gold and diamond jewellery manufacturer-exporter, has filed its audited consolidated financial results for Q4 and full year ended March 31, 2025, with an unmodified (clean) audit opinion from BSD & Co. Revenue for FY25 came in at around Rs 4,23,099 crore, up roughly 50% from Rs 2,80,676 crore in FY24, driven by higher gold trading volumes. However, profitability weakened sharply — FY25 profit before tax fell to about Rs 1,069 crore from Rs 3,682 crore a year ago, and FY25 PAT stood at Rs 948.7 crore (EPS of Rs 3.21), indicating significant margin compression. Q4 FY25 returned to a small profit of Rs 19.5 crore, recovering from a loss of Rs 302.8 crore in Q4 FY24. On the cash flow side, net cash from operations jumped to Rs 77,376 crore from just Rs 1,399 crore in FY24, supported by working capital changes.
Strong top-line growth signals business expansion, but the sharp drop in profit (PBT down ~71%) highlights severe margin pressure that shareholders should watch closely. The clean audit opinion and sharply improved operating cash flow are positives, while Q4's return to profit offers some near-term comfort for the stock.
