Rajeshwari Cans Ltd reported revenue from operations of Rs. 402.4 crore for FY25, up ~16% from Rs. 345.8 crore in FY24. Net profit rose to Rs. 191.7 lakh, a ~45% jump from Rs. 132.6 lakh in the previous year. Profit before tax grew ~51% to Rs. 280.9 lakh, driven by better operating leverage as total expenses grew slower than revenue. The company issued bonus shares in a 1:1 ratio during the year, doubling share capital to Rs. 10.49 crore. Cash flow from operations improved sharply to Rs. 593.3 lakh (vs Rs. 238.2 lakh last year), though the company invested heavily in property, plant and equipment (Rs. 878.7 lakh), reflecting a major capacity expansion. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
Strong profit growth, healthy operating cash generation, and ongoing capacity expansion signal improving business momentum for shareholders. However, short-term borrowings jumped nearly 8x to Rs. 457 lakh, lifting total debt and increasing leverage, which warrants close monitoring.
