Rajnish Retail Limited reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) revenue from operations of ₹2,175.02 lakhs, up sharply from ₹1,333.67 lakhs in the same quarter last year — a rise of about 63% year-on-year. Total income stood at ₹2,196.58 lakhs. However, profit after tax fell to just ₹10.16 lakhs versus ₹51.52 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a drop of around 80%, as expenses grew faster than revenues. Earnings per share came in at ₹0.0065 versus ₹0.1671 a year ago. The auditor (C.P. Jaria & Co.) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications, and the company stated there are no defaults on loans or debt securities.
Strong top-line growth is a positive sign, but the sharp compression in profit margins raises concerns about profitability. Shareholders should watch whether the company can convert revenue growth into better earnings in coming quarters. Short-term stock reaction may be mixed given the weak profit print despite robust sales.
