Ram Ratna Wires Ltd reported strong FY2026 results with revenue from operations growing 40% to Rs. 5,07,611 Lakhs from Rs. 3,62,268 Lakhs in FY25. Profit after tax increased 51% to Rs. 10,832 Lakhs compared to Rs. 7,172 Lakhs in the prior year. Basic EPS improved to Rs. 11.61 from Rs. 7.70. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 2.50 per share (50% on face value of Rs. 5). Statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion. However, an Emphasis of Matter was raised regarding a tax demand of Rs. 6,791 Lakhs (plus Rs. 3,149 Lakhs interest) from Income Tax Department for Assessment Years 2021-22 to 2024-25 following a search and seizure action; the company has appealed and considers this a contingent liability. The 34th AGM will be held on August 4, 2026.
Strong double-digit revenue and profit growth is positive for shareholders. The clean audit opinion provides assurance, but the unresolved tax demand of nearly Rs. 10,000 Lakhs (including interest) creates some uncertainty. Working capital increased significantly (inventories up 112%, receivables up 66%), which may pressure cash flows.
