Rama Phosphates posted strong Q1 FY26 results. Revenue from operations rose to ₹19,031.35 lakhs, up about 24% from ₹15,369.48 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Profit from operations before exceptional items jumped to ₹2,146.32 lakhs from ₹160.68 lakhs a year ago, while net profit after tax surged to ₹1,603.32 lakhs versus ₹168.16 lakhs, translating to basic EPS of ₹4.53 (up from ₹0.48). Growth was driven by the Fertilizers, Micro Nutrients & Chemicals segment, whose revenue rose to ₹17,640.30 lakhs; the Soya/Agri segment continued to shrink and posted a small loss. The statutory auditor (Khandelwal & Mehta LLP) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Very positive for shareholders — both top line and bottom line showed sharp year-on-year growth with significantly expanded margins, supported by a strong fertilizer segment. The Dhule Greenfield project (trial production targeted by Q4 FY26) and existing ICRA 'A-' credit rating add a constructive medium-term outlook, though the weak Soya/Agri segment remains a watch point.
