Board approved Q1 FY27 results. Standalone profit rose 40% to Rs 953 lakhs on revenue of Rs 2,781 lakhs (up 8%). Consolidated revenue grew 18% to Rs 1,58,688 lakhs but profit fell 16% to Rs 4,827 lakhs. Subsidiary RML agreed to sell 3.48 acres in Velachery for Rs 361 crore and acquire Hindustan Composites friction business for Rs 370 crore.
Strong standalone earnings, but consolidated profit dipped on higher tax and lower exceptional gains. Land sale and acquisition show active portfolio reshaping.
