Rapid Multimodal Logistics, a Chennai-based goods transport company listed on the BSE SME platform, reported FY25 revenue from operations of ₹10,299.33 lakhs, up about 43% from ₹7,182.36 lakhs in FY24. Profit before tax rose to ₹302.55 lakhs (from ₹253.08 lakhs) and profit after tax grew to ₹226.40 lakhs (from ₹189.39 lakhs), a roughly 19.5% increase. Basic EPS, however, slipped to ₹5.69 from ₹6.76 because paid-up equity capital expanded from ₹280 lakhs to ₹381.12 lakhs following an IPO that brought in ₹849.41 lakhs. Auditor Jay Gupta & Associates gave a clean, unqualified opinion. Operating cash flow swung negative at ₹(90.10) lakhs versus a positive ₹74.65 lakhs last year, driven by a sharp jump in trade receivables. EBITDA margin compressed to about 3.1% from 4.0% as costs grew faster than revenue.
Strong top-line growth and a clean audit are positives, but the EPS dip from equity dilution, negative operating cash flow, and shrinking EBITDA margin mean shareholders should watch for improvement in collections and cost control in coming quarters.
