Ratnabhumi Developers reported a sharp year-on-year decline in its Q1 FY26-27 results. Consolidated revenue from operations fell to ₹1,361.23 lakhs from ₹2,851.37 lakhs in the same quarter last year, a drop of about 52%. Total income stood at ₹1,448.23 lakhs versus ₹2,851.37 lakhs. Finance costs more than doubled to ₹727.68 lakhs (consolidated) from ₹287.33 lakhs, weighing heavily on profitability. Profit before tax plunged to ₹18.63 lakhs from ₹258.70 lakhs, and consolidated profit after tax crashed to ₹6.88 lakhs from ₹199.89 lakhs, down roughly 97%. Standalone PAT also fell sharply to ₹8.78 lakhs from ₹196.79 lakhs. The statutory auditor (MAAK & Associates) issued an unmodified review report on both sets of results.
Shareholders should note the steep drop in revenue and profits, with finance costs rising sharply. Earnings per share fell to ₹0.05 (consolidated) and ₹0.06 (standalone), which could pressure the stock in the near term despite the clean auditor opinion.
