Ravindra Energy Limited reported its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results, showing a sharp year-on-year decline. Standalone revenue fell to Rs. 1,492.05 Mn from Rs. 1,932.86 Mn (down ~23%), while profit after tax dropped to Rs. 214.34 Mn from Rs. 609.69 Mn (down ~65%). Consolidated revenue also declined to Rs. 1,626.42 Mn from Rs. 2,504.22 Mn. The company booked an exceptional item of Rs. 50 Mn as impairment in LLP investments. The Board also approved the incorporation of a new wholly owned subsidiary, REL KNSP KUSUM ONE PRIVATE LIMITED, and revised the remuneration ceiling of Executive Chairperson Dr. Vidya Murkumbi and CEO Mr. Shantanu Lath to a maximum of Rs. 3 Crores per annum. Internal auditor M/s. Aditya S. Bhide resigned citing health issues, with P G BHAGWAT LLP appointed as the new internal auditor.
The steep fall in both revenue and profits is negative for near-term earnings momentum and could pressure the stock. The mid-year change in internal auditor and an outstanding SOP fine from BSE for non-compliance with Listing Regulations (Regulation 19 and 20) are minor governance overhangs, though NSE has approved a waiver application.
