Redtape Limited's Board approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025, along with a final dividend of Rs. 0.25 (12.5%) per equity share of face value Rs. 2. Consolidated revenue from operations rose about 9% to Rs. 2,018 crore (from Rs. 1,849 crore in FY24), while consolidated profit after tax grew around 6% to Rs. 178 crore (from Rs. 167 crore). Together with the Rs. 2 (100%) interim dividend already paid, total dividend for FY25 stands at Rs. 2.25 per share. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results. Record date for the final dividend entitlement has been fixed as August 1, 2025. On the cash flow side, standalone operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. -299 lakhs versus a positive Rs. 81 crore in FY24, though consolidated operating cash flow remained positive at Rs. 14 crore.
The results show steady single-digit growth in revenue and profits with a clean audit and a healthy total dividend payout, which is mildly positive for shareholders. However, the sharp swing to negative standalone operating cash flow, mainly due to a large inventory build-up, is a watchpoint that could concern investors looking at cash quality of earnings.
