Regal Entertainment & Consultants Ltd reported weak unaudited results for Q3 FY26, swinging to a loss after tax of ₹2.49 lakhs compared to a profit of ₹30.05 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations fell sharply to ₹18.95 lakhs in Q3 from ₹44.53 lakhs a year ago, a drop of about 57%. For the nine months ended December 2025, the company posted a loss after tax of ₹16.15 lakhs versus a profit of ₹31.82 lakhs in the same period last year, with total expenses ballooning to ₹110.33 lakhs from just ₹11.61 lakhs. The statutory auditor flagged an Emphasis of Matter, stating they could not verify investments worth ₹18.73 lakhs in shares and securities because management did not provide demat statements or supporting documents. The board also approved re-appointment of the internal auditor and appointment of a scrutinizer for FY26-27.
Negative for shareholders — the company shifted from profit to loss both for the quarter and year-to-date, revenue declined sharply, costs surged, and the auditor raised concerns over unverified investments, which may weigh on investor confidence.
