On the reaction day the stock moved 5.3 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Reliance Communications informed exchanges that its subsidiary Reliance Telecom Limited (RTL) received a letter dated December 17, 2025 from Central Bank of India declaring its loan accounts as fraud. Amount involved is Rs. 18.40 crore. Both RCOM and RTL have been under Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process since June 28, 2019, with resolution plans approved by creditors and awaiting NCLT approval. The company cites protection under Sections 14 and 32A of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
Limited direct impact as both entities are under insolvency protection and loans predate it. Resolution plans already address such liabilities.
