Reliance Industries' material subsidiary Jio Platforms has approved its Draft Red Herring Prospectus for a proposed IPO. The offer is a fresh issue of up to 27 crore equity shares of Rs. 10 face value, priced via book building under SEBI rules. The IPO is subject to regulatory approvals. Jio Platforms houses Reliance's digital and telecom businesses.
A Jio Platforms listing could unlock standalone value for the digital business and create long-term value for Reliance shareholders.
