On the reaction day the stock moved 2.2 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.3 pts more than its Power peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Reliance Infrastructure's wholly owned subsidiary, JR Toll Road Private Limited (JRTR), has entered into an addendum to its Settlement Agreement with Yes Bank Limited and paid the full settlement amount for its outstanding debt of approximately INR 273 crore (including interest). As a result, Reliance Infrastructure's obligation as a corporate guarantor for this loan has also been fully settled and discharged. Yes Bank is not a shareholder, related party, or part of the promoter group of the company. This follows earlier disclosures made on November 26, 2024 and April 1, 2025 regarding the same matter.
Positive for shareholders — the full debt settlement removes a contingent liability of ~INR 273 crore from Reliance Infrastructure's books and strengthens the company's balance sheet by eliminating the corporate guarantee obligation.
