On the reaction day the stock moved 1.8 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.0 pts more than its Investment Company peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Religare Enterprises has updated the stock exchanges on its earlier approved preferential issue of up to 6,38,29,782 (about 6.38 crore) warrants, each convertible into one equity share of Rs. 10 face value. The Board had approved this on July 11, 2025, and shareholders cleared it at an EGM on August 08, 2025. In response to queries from the exchanges during their in-principle approval review, the company has revised Point 18 of the EGM Explanatory Statement to confirm that the warrants and the resulting equity shares will be subject to a lock-in period as per Chapter V of the SEBI ICDR Regulations. This is a procedural clarification and not a change to the size or pricing of the issue.
For shareholders, this is a routine regulatory clarification and does not change the fundamentals of the preferential warrant issue. The lock-in clause means the allottee cannot immediately sell the shares after warrant conversion, which is standard for preferential allotments and may limit near-term supply on the stock.
