On the reaction day the stock moved 6.3 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 6.9 pts more than its Investment Company peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Dilipkumar V Lakhi, along with Girdharilal V. Lakhi and Manish Lakhi (acting in concert), has disclosed the sale of 67,23,273 equity shares of Religare Enterprises Ltd, representing about 2.03% of the company's total share capital. The shares were sold on NSE and BSE through ARJ Securities between 5 February 2025 and 9 July 2025 via open market and takeover offer routes. As a result, their collective holding dropped sharply from 2.95% (97,51,614 shares) to 0.92% (30,28,341 shares). The sellers have stated in the disclosure that they do not belong to the promoter or promoter group of the company.
This is a sizeable non-promoter exit of over 2% of the share capital, cutting the Lakhi group's stake to under 1%. The reduction may add short-term supply pressure on the stock and signals a significant retreat by a long-associated shareholder group.
