Remi Edelstahl Tubulars reported Q1 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs. 2,661.71 lakhs, up about 15.9% from Rs. 2,297.14 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Net profit after tax was Rs. 21.07 lakhs versus Rs. 19.65 lakhs, a modest 7% rise. The Board approved preferential allotments totalling about Rs. 24.12 crores at Rs. 129.33 per share/warrant: 6.69 lakh convertible warrants to South Korea's WSG Co. (~$1 million), 5 lakh equity shares to promoter group entity Remi Finance and Investment, and 6.96 lakh shares to non-promoter investors. WSG also signed a Technology License and Machinery Purchase Agreement to help manufacture ultra-high-purity and titanium stainless steel tubes in India. Cost, internal, and secretarial auditors were re-appointed, and the 54th AGM is set for August 28, 2025.
The fundraise brings in fresh capital and a foreign technology partner, which could support a new product line in UHP and titanium tubes. However, dilution from nearly 18.65 lakh new shares/warrants may weigh on existing shareholders, and Q1 profit growth remains thin despite higher revenue.
