Repro India Limited has submitted its audited financial results (standalone and consolidated) for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations fell to Rs 46,595 lakhs from Rs 47,946 lakhs in the previous year, while the company slipped into a loss after tax of Rs 206 lakhs compared to a profit of Rs 1,201 lakhs in FY24. Standalone numbers were weaker, with revenue dropping about 18.6% to Rs 25,864 lakhs and a loss after tax of Rs 479 lakhs versus a profit of Rs 757 lakhs last year. The statutory auditors (M S K A & Associates) issued an unmodified opinion on the results. The board also approved the re-appointment of M S K A & Associates as statutory auditor for a second 5-year term, appointed Makarand M. Joshi & Co. as secretarial auditor for FY 2025-26 to FY 2029-30, and re-appointed the internal auditor for FY 2025-26. Comparative figures have been restated to correct certain prior period deferred tax classifications under Ind AS 8.
The swing from profit to loss in both standalone and consolidated results, combined with declining revenues, signals weakening operational performance and may weigh negatively on near-term investor sentiment. Restatement of prior-period figures adds complexity but is not unusual; shareholders should monitor margin recovery and the closure of the long-pending Mahape factory strike noted in the disclosures.
