Resgen Ltd (formerly Eco Janitors Limited), listed on the BSE SME platform, approved its unaudited H1 FY26 results (period ended 30 Sep 2025). Revenue from operations surged to Rs. 3,787.43 lakhs, up about 47% from Rs. 2,568.59 lakhs in the same period last year. However, profit before tax barely moved (Rs. 518.74 lakhs vs Rs. 517.48 lakhs) and profit after tax rose only marginally to Rs. 403.45 lakhs (from Rs. 383.53 lakhs), translating to EPS of Rs. 1.92 vs Rs. 1.83. Costs, particularly other expenses and direct material costs, rose sharply, leading to significant margin compression despite the strong top-line growth. Operating cash flow was healthy at Rs. 789.75 lakhs, and cash on hand improved to Rs. 318.19 lakhs. The auditor (Jay Gupta & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report.
Strong revenue growth signals business expansion, but the flat profit growth and sharp EBITDA margin compression (from ~28% to ~18%) are red flags for profitability. Shareholders may see muted near-term stock reaction until margins recover; the strong cash generation and clean audit are positives.
