Resonance Specialties reported a strong Q1 FY26 with revenue from operations rising about 23% year-on-year to Rs. 2,127.42 lakh from Rs. 1,730.22 lakh in Q1 FY25. Profit after tax jumped sharply to Rs. 163.04 lakh from Rs. 58.80 lakh a year earlier, an increase of roughly 177%. Basic EPS improved to Rs. 1.41 from Rs. 0.51. However, on a sequential basis, both revenue and profit came down compared to the strong Q4 FY25 quarter, suggesting some normalisation after a peak quarter. The auditor (Kailash Chand Jain & Co.) issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. The company continues to operate in a single segment (chemical manufacturing) with no subsidiaries or joint ventures.
The robust YoY growth in both revenue and profits signals healthy business momentum, which is positive for shareholders. The QoQ dip from a strong Q4 is not alarming and reflects normal quarter-to-quarter variation rather than weakness.
