Responsive Industries Limited submitted its Q3 FY26 and nine-month FY26 unaudited financial results (standalone and consolidated) along with the auditor's limited review report, which carried an unmodified opinion. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations fell about 15% year-on-year to Rs. 31,131.75 lakhs in Q3, while nine-month revenue declined roughly 7% to Rs. 96,377.83 lakhs. Consolidated net profit after tax dropped sharply to Rs. 2,247.87 lakhs in Q3 (from Rs. 4,695.27 lakhs a year ago), with nine-month PAT at Rs. 12,560.41 lakhs versus Rs. 14,461.28 lakhs in the prior year. Standalone numbers were also weak, with Q3 PAT of just Rs. 325.28 lakhs versus Rs. 1,063.84 lakhs last year. The company recognised Rs. 54.13 lakhs as an exceptional item for the one-time impact of India's new Labour Codes.
The double-digit fall in quarterly revenue and profit points to meaningful weakness in core business performance, which is likely to be viewed negatively by the market. The exceptional labour code charge is small and does not explain the overall decline, so earnings momentum looks soft heading into the final quarter.
