Responsive Industries' Board, at its May 14, 2025 meeting, approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025, and recommended a final dividend of Re. 0.10 per equity share (10% on face value of Re. 1) for FY25, subject to shareholder approval. On a standalone basis, FY25 revenue from operations fell to Rs. 55,574 lakhs from Rs. 65,495 lakhs in FY24, while net profit was largely flat at Rs. 3,172 lakhs (vs Rs. 3,163 lakhs), with EPS of Rs. 1.19. On a consolidated basis (including subsidiaries in Hong Kong, USA), FY25 revenue jumped to Rs. 1,41,791 lakhs from Rs. 1,08,697 lakhs (~30% growth), and net profit rose to Rs. 19,886 lakhs from Rs. 16,127 lakhs (~23% growth), with EPS at Rs. 7.46 vs Rs. 6.05. Subsidiary performance is clearly driving the overall growth. The auditors (Shah & Taparia) issued an unmodified opinion on both sets of results.
The 10 paise final dividend represents only a token payout with negligible yield for shareholders, unlikely to be a price catalyst. However, the strong consolidated earnings growth shows the subsidiaries (especially overseas) are performing well, while the standalone business has stagnated — investors should note the divergence.
