APL Apollo Tubes reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹20,689.54 crores for FY25, up about 14% from ₹18,118.80 crores in FY24. Consolidated profit after tax rose modestly to ₹757.06 crores (FY24: ₹732.44 crores), with EPS of ₹27.28 vs ₹26.40. Q4 FY25 was the strongest quarter, with revenue of ₹5,508.60 crores and PAT of ₹293.11 crores, a sharp jump from ₹170.44 crores in Q4 FY24. However, operating margin slipped from 6.58% to 5.80% and net profit margin from 4.04% to 3.66%, showing cost pressure. The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹5.75 per share (287.5% on face value) and approved a ₹1,500 crore capex plan over three years to lift capacity from 4.5 Mn Ton to 6.8 Mn Ton.
Good Q4 momentum and a sizeable dividend are positives for shareholders, but weaker margins signal rising input costs. The large capacity expansion plan points to future growth but also increased debt and depreciation in coming years.
