Mahaveer Infoway Ltd reported a sharp decline in Q2 FY26 results, with revenue from operations falling to Rs 67.25 lakhs from Rs 101.62 lakhs in Q2 FY25, a drop of about 34%. Half-yearly revenue also declined to Rs 142.67 lakhs from Rs 184.23 lakhs in the same period last year. Profit after tax for the quarter stood at just Rs 2.73 lakhs versus Rs 16.27 lakhs a year ago, though H1 FY26 PAT of Rs 12.79 lakhs was higher than full-year FY25 PAT of Rs 8.00 lakhs. The company continues to carry negative reserves of Rs -1.35 crore, and its operating cash flow for H1 FY26 was slightly negative at Rs -2.70 lakhs. Borrowings dropped sharply from Rs 1.51 crore to Rs 8.60 lakhs during the half-year. The board also approved the sale of the company's partnership interest in Mahaveer Skyscrapers LLP, and noted two income tax appeals filed by the department against prior favorable orders.
Weak quarterly performance and negative reserves remain concerns for shareholders, though debt has been substantially reduced and the company remains marginally profitable. The income tax appeals and continued cash burn are near-term watchpoints that could affect sentiment.
