Birla Capital & Financial Services Ltd submitted its revised unaudited standalone financial results for Q2 FY26 (quarter ended September 30, 2025), approved at a board meeting on November 13, 2025. Total income for Q2 FY26 jumped sharply to ₹31.00 lakhs from just ₹2.00 lakhs in Q2 FY25, while total expenditure stood at ₹30.42 lakhs. The company swung to a profit of ₹0.58 lakh in Q2 FY26 versus a loss of ₹0.23 lakh in the year-ago quarter. For the half-year (H1 FY26), total income rose to ₹33.00 lakhs from ₹2.50 lakhs, with a small profit of ₹0.36 lakh against a loss of ₹3.66 lakh in H1 FY25. Statutory auditor Agrawal Jain & Gupta issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis-of-matter paragraphs.
The sharp revenue jump and turnaround to profit are positive on the surface, but the balance sheet remains weak — other equity is deeply negative at ₹(923.06) lakhs against paid-up capital of ₹938.31 lakhs, signalling large accumulated losses. Net cash from operations for H1 FY26 was slightly negative at ₹(0.05) lakh. Shareholders should view the headline profit swing with caution given the eroded reserves and negligible operating scale.
