JCT Limited, which is currently under the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), informed the stock exchanges about the outcome of its Committee of Creditors (CoC) meetings. In the 6th CoC meeting held on December 1, 2025, the CoC approved the Request for Resolution Plan (RFRP) and the Evaluation Matrix via e-voting that concluded on December 9, 2025. The RFRP and Evaluation Matrix will now be circulated to Prospective Resolution Applicants (PRAs), who will have 30 days to submit their resolution plans. The 4th meeting (October 16, 2025) and 5th meeting (November 21, 2025) did not result in any material decisions. The update was signed by the Resolution Professional, Umesh Garg.
This is a procedural step forward in JCT's insolvency journey — moving closer to inviting bids for revival. For existing shareholders, this is generally negative news as resolution under CIRP typically results in significant dilution or loss of equity value, since financial creditors are paid first from any resolution proceeds.
