Rishiroop Limited (BSE: 526492), which operates in the Polymers & Compounds segment, reported strong top-line growth in Q1FY26. Revenue from Operations rose to ₹1,766.22 lakhs from ₹1,161.69 lakhs in Q1FY25, a jump of roughly 52%. Total Income (including other income and fair value gains) was ₹2,666.87 lakhs versus ₹2,128.65 lakhs a year earlier. However, Net Profit came in around ₹817 lakhs (EPS of ₹8.92), slightly lower than ~₹867 lakhs (EPS of ₹9.46) in Q1FY25, mainly because fair value gains on investments shrank from ₹908 lakhs to ₹807 lakhs. The statutory auditor, Jayesh Dadia & Associates LLP, issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
The strong ~52% growth in operating revenue is a positive sign for the core Polymers business, but the slightly lower PAT and EPS show that headline earnings remain heavily supported by mark-to-market investment gains rather than steady operational profitability. Watch for sustained margin improvement in coming quarters.
