On the reaction day the stock moved 1.4 pts less than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
RITES declared a second interim dividend of Rs 1.90 per share for FY 2026-27, equal to 19% of paid-up capital. The record date is November 11, 2026, and payment is due by December 3, 2026. For the six months ended September 30, consolidated revenue was Rs 1,089.03 crore and profit attributable to RITES was Rs 173.39 crore. The planned joint venture with NICC will not proceed.
Shareholders will receive cash returns. Lower half-year profit and the failed joint venture may weigh on sentiment, but cash flow supports payouts.
